Hello!
My name is Jordan Smith and I am a recent graduate of the University of Waterloo's Honours Biomedical Science program. I have 2 years of science teaching experience where I worked as a teaching assistant in physiology and anatomy labs. I also facilitated Q&A tutorial sessions for biochemistry. I also have experience teaching beginner level French and Spanish! I have a passion for teaching and sharing my knowledge by translating complex information into comprehensible pieces. For me, the most rewarding part of the experience is providing the intial jump-start and watching as the gears inside the student's head begin to turn all on their own! Some of my hobbies include language learning, going to the movies, and hiking with my dog. I love to learn, and I love contributing to other's learning. I would also like to add that I would really enjoy tutoring in-person if geographical constraints are manageable. Please do not hesistate to contact me with any questions or requests!
