Hi, I am Ricky. I have been giving private tutorials on physics & math for 10 years.

The students I taught studied a wide range of syllabi, including:
IB, IGCSE, DSE, SAT, and HSC used in Australia.

All of my students went into universities after they graduated from high school.

My Educational Background:
I am a physicist by training. I did my undergraduate in the University of New South Wales, and my undergraduate research project in the University of Sydney.

After coming back to Hong Kong, I further pursuit a M.Phil in Astrophysics. Then I beome a Ph.D candidate in Earth Sciences.

After that, I work in a 3D Printing & STEM startup, teaching 3D printing & STEM to various organizations
such as schools & corporate training.

My Strength in Teaching:
I have experience in teaching students from many different backgrounds and levels, including:
- Grade 9 to 12 high school students.
- Gifted students when I served as the Study Adisor at Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education.
- Adults when I teach business course in HKUSPACE.
- Undergraduate students when I served as Teaching Assistant in HKU, UNSW, and USYD.
- General public when I serve as Guest Speaker at the HK Space Museum.

When teaching physics & math, some common learning bottle necks I saw were:
- Lack of clear & in-depth understanding of the concepts.
- Lack of math ability to handle physics problems.
- Don't understand what the questions are asking.
