I am a graduate of King George V International School in Hong Kong, where I completed the IB Diploma and achieved a Level 7 in HL Economics. I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Toronto, studying Economics, Sociology, and Statistics. I am presently based in the Tseung Kwan O area while I am back in Hong Kong for the summer, but I am willing to travel to various parts of Hong Kong if required. I am looking to tutor Economics because I have always been passionate about the subject and am looking to pursue a career in the field after completing my undergraduate studies. I have previous tutoring experience at both the IB/High School level and below, prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. During that time, I adopted a patient and outgoing approach to teaching, going above and beyond to ensure that I provide high-quality tutoring services. I firmly believe in adopting a flexible, observant approach when teaching. Being able to change and modify lesson plans and explanations depending on each individual student allows for them to gain the absolute most out of every lesson. Moreover, I strive to ensure that students not only complete whatever assignments or homework they bring to the lesson, but also gain a deeper understanding of the lesson material itself.
