I am a retired civil servant from Australia, having spent many years in public service.

I am a qualified teacher with certificates in training and assessment, and have been employed to teach and assess students in EMS, WH&S, and etiquette.

I have a passion for the English language and enjoy sharing that passion. I like to teach in a relaxed and friendly manner with plenty of interaction. I don't lecture; I share and teach.

My assessment skills help my students perform at their best, and I can tailor learning to meet any special needs and outcomes they require.

While I can and have taught classes, I prefer to have just one or two students at a time to give them my full attention.

I begin by assessing my students individually to ascertain their current abilities and find out what each specifically wants to achieve, then build a course that is entertaining, educational, and an experience that will last a lifetime.

Since I have vast experience in many varied businesses and occupations, I bring with me considerable knowledge that will greatly assist my students in achieving their ultimate goals.

This journey begins with one small step: the willingness to approach learning with an open and receptive mind and the perseverance to achieve each individual step, knowing that the process of learning will always continue.

My methods employ an individualized and personalized approach. I assess each student to understand their abilities, preferences, goals, and aptitude. Then, I create a customized course that will help them achieve the desired outcomes.

Each lesson is structured to last 1 to 2 hours and includes additional homework assignments. Reading, writing, and oral skills are addressed in every session, with a focus on practical application.
