I am a specialist and former examiner in IGCSE, IB, and A-Level Economics. I am also available for teachers who need advice on teaching methodology or other matters.

Lord Robbins, a former professor at my old university (The L.S.E), defined Economics as, "the science which studies human behaviour as a relationship between ends and scarce means which have alternative uses."

My unique teaching style and extensive experience ensure that students will improve their Economics. Students often do not understand the terminology in Economics and how to apply the theories and concepts in the examination. This is my focus. All of my students are required to complete homework and submit it before the next lesson. Frequent use of past papers consolidates their understanding and exam performance. Coverage of the appropriate course is flexible and focused on the individual student's needs.

My approach varies depending on the student’s needs and learning style. However, my teaching philosophy is based on encouraging students to think for themselves, using real-world examples wherever possible. My aim as a tutor is to create in my students a deep understanding and confidence in answering exam questions and being able to tackle new and unfamiliar problems.
