My name is Adam, and I am a native English tutor from London currently living in Kowloon. This is my fifth year teaching in Hong Kong, and I have experience working in both primary and secondary schools. I hold a PGCE in Primary Education and have a 120 hour CertTESOL qualification. I have experience preparing students for P1 and S1 interviews, as well as DSE speaking exams. Additionally, I have previous tutoring experience in Hong Kong, specifically working with adults. Before moving to Hong Kong, I tutored English to children and also volunteered in an English immersive environment in Austria. I am proficient in offering tutoring services in any aspect of English and have worked with individuals of different ages and abilities. I am adaptable, and working with younger students I tailor my lessons to their interests. I am enthusiastic, and keep an open mind about how to engage students. If a student is not responding to a particular task or activity, then I would look to change this to something that they respond to. When practising for interviews, I use a range of questions to prepare students. I take my time to assess each student, working out how best they learn, and adapting my lessons accordingly.
