Hello all! I'm a math tutor with 5 years of combined experience teaching learners of all ages. I began teaching English as a Second Language in the United States while finishing my biology degree at the University of Colorado. After graduation, I started teaching math courses at Theodore International School and soon moved to Bangkok, where I taught at Australian International School. I primarily covered Secondary IGCSE Chemistry, Physics, and Biology courses but also continued working as a private math tutor in my free time. Currently, I work as a freelance data analyst with a focus on ecommerce and blockchain technology.

Learning math doesn't have to be painful! My primary goal is always to ensure that my students are interested and engaged. I use material based on my students' interests and also strive to connect the material to the real world.

My teaching methodology involves getting to know each of my students interests and goals, then connection the material being covered to the real world. I believe that traditional k-12 education often falls into a the habit of simply checking boxes of each topic on the curriculum. Math doesn’t have to be boring!
