I am a British Korean who studied and was raised in the UK. I am a qualified medical doctor in the UK. I have just moved to Hong Kong and am currently taking a gap year. I graduated from Medical School at Imperial College London in 2020 and also achieved first-class honors in Biomedical Engineering BSc. I attained 3 A* and an A in my A-levels in the UK. I have extensive experience in teaching maths and sciences (biology, chemistry, physics) to a wide range of age groups from 4 to 17 years old and have taught seminars for group teaching. As part of my medical training, I have also completed teaching skills courses and been part of the medical school interview panels for 5 years. Being brought up in a traditional Korean family, I speak fluent Korean and English. Therefore, I am able to teach the above subjects in both languages and teach spoken Korean and English to a professional level. From my experiences, I have come to realize that everyone has their own way of learning, and it is the teacher's role to match that and help them along the road. Providing the means and opportunities to learn rather than spoon-feeding an individual. It is as Benjamin Franklin once said, "Tell me and I forget, teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn".
