Hello! My name is Shamine, and I am a student studying at the National University of Singapore. :) Despite English being the first language in Singapore, I grew up speaking Chinese because it feels more heartwarming to communicate in Chinese at home and with my friends. Moreover, it has been incredibly beneficial for me during my internships with companies in the Asia Pacific region.

I will first ask the student what their goal is - whether it is to speak and converse fluently in Chinese or to be able to write Chinese, for example. Then, I will prepare materials to teach vocabulary to the student and have a conversation session where I engage in spoken interactions with the student.
