Hi there, my name is XinYing and I'm originally from China. I'm currently living in Singapore with my partner and our fluffy dog 小黑. I have a master's degree in Child and Family Studies and because of my research background, I have conducted qualitative research as the primary interviewer which means ✅I have keen understanding of flows of conversations and great work ethics by maintaining friendly and professional relationships in the long-term.

About me:
✅Experience in tutoring Chinese as a subject to children from expatriate families and assisting with their school adjustment; helping their parents with conversational practice
✅M.A. in Child Development and Family Studies from Seoul National University

MY APPROACH
✅l choose topics and learning materials that suit my students' levels and interests. Throughout my lessons, I'll introduce key words and phrases used to discuss the chosen topics through a natural flow of conversations. I will take notes on things (expressions, grammar, words) that you can work on to improve. I will then put everything in a google file that we both have access to.

✅After each lesson, depending on your goals, I will give you homework in forms of interactive tasks, 造句练习，听写，跟读等。我觉得语言环境和日常互动对于语言学习至关重要，所以在课后我希望和我的学生能通过这些小作业，用中文进行互动，给我的学生一个日常使用中文的机会。I also like to use short exercises or quizzes as homework to enhance your 写字, vocabulary or grammar if that's what you want to work on.
