I have been teaching for over 16 years and still think it is the best job in the world. I make my classes fun, creative, and communicative, no matter how old the student. The best way to learn is to enjoy it! As a practitioner of post-method pedagogy, I adapt my teaching practice to the needs of the learners, keeping them engaged and helping them achieve their best.

I started as a teacher of English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) to adults in the UK for 7 years before coming to Hong Kong, where I have taught in the local school system as a NET as well as in tutorial centers.

I have a proven track record in teaching ESOL, English (as a first language), and History, providing in-person and online training and encouragement to improve student self-confidence, study habits, and time management. I have helped students achieve greater academic success and independent learning among students through effective learning techniques, which led to 100% of students scoring either grade 9 or 8 at GCSE, an A at A Level, and 90% of students offered a place at the school of their choice.

Qualifications:
- Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (in progress)
- MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages – Merit
- PGCE (Further, Higher, and Adult Education) in English to Speakers of Other Languages
- Advanced University Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language – Merit
- BA (Hons) in European Studies and History – Upper Second
