I am a dedicated and passionate teacher who focuses on developing the natural abilities of the learners in my class. I enjoy the challenge of breaking through barriers, especially in instances where a child may find a task difficult. I consider myself a nurturing, caring person and enjoy the bonds I have developed with the children I have had the privilege of teaching.

During my nine years of teaching experience in South Africa and two years in South Korea, I have been exposed to many teaching styles and strategies, which have allowed me to adapt my teaching style to the needs of the learners. My experience of many different teaching styles has helped me grow as an educator.

I have spent the last 5 years teaching in a remedial school, taking each learner individually and creating a specialized education plan for them. I can teach a wide range of learners in extension and remediated work. I can adapt my teaching style to the learning needs of the learners, no matter their challenges.
