Q: Quali metodi didattici utilizzi per aiutare gli studenti ad apprendere i concetti matematici e a risolvere i problemi?

I like to establish a base of knowledge with the student first. We need to understand what a student already knows, so that we have a starting point to build up from. Next to this we establish our reference point, which usually is the curriculum of the student. From there we start low and slow. I like to simplify concepts and use analogies to make complex topics more approachable. As soon as I feel like the student has a basic undersanding of the topic, we move to practicing relevant exercises. I tend demonstrate the solution first and after which I guide the student through the exercises. The end goal is for the student to be able of solving exercises on their own.

I have an academic in Artificial Intelligence, and this has given me a strong foundation in logic, set theory, statistics, probability theory and linear algebra.

I am direct, yet professional. I will never make a student or a parent feel inadequate about their current abilities or what they might lack in abilities. We all have a great capacity to learn, and everything is achievable with enough effort, discipline and time!

I do not have resources of my own, but I will always be able to provide external sources if necessary.

I like to think of myself as a person who is great at "leveling" with another. People tend to pay more attention to you when they are able to relate to you. I am aware of this and I pay attention to achieving this too.
