I am an educator with over 15 years of experience. Having worked with children of all ages, as well as children with additional needs, has allowed me to fine-tune my teaching skills to meet the needs of every child. My teaching methods focus on building symbol imagery and concept imagery to develop reading fluency, accuracy, and overall comprehension.

The first free session is an initial consultation with the parents/carers, as well as a reading and comprehension assessment for the student. This will allow me to understand the student's needs better and plan their learning plan accordingly.

For all students, I believe in the importance of making learning fun. This can look different according to the age and needs of each student, but I enjoy tailoring my sessions for students - for example, using themed motivational tools to engage learners and taking brief brain breaks to help students stay focused.

I solely teach online using Zoom or Teams, so students must be able to use the platform independently. If students are too young to use the platform independently, I ask that a parent or carer sit in on all lessons to support with any technical issues. Leggi di meno
