I have a very open approach to teaching as I am aware that every student is different, some students learn quickly and some slowly. I understand that one student might learn in one way and another student in a different way. With this in mind, I adapt my lesson planning according. I believe that starts with basics such as grammar and structure + genres and styles. In addition to this development of a student's writing process is also important from prewriting, drafting, revising and editing.
There are many ways to help students; I believe that grammar is usually found hard to do because of how it's been or being taught. I feel that many students are left with questions, even after their lessons are finished! I help students by breaking down all grammatical systems, explaining them, and showing real-world examples. So students can understand not only how but why we use these systems. Punctuation is quite easy to teach as it follows strict rules, which rarely change, I would teach punctuation during my writing lessons. I would use visual aids such as charts and posters. I would also use interactive games, so again students could have a go at tasks but also make mistakes which could be turned into teaching points. With spelling, I would use spelling bees to help, I would also provide students with tips and tricks on how to spell.
My approach to teaching reading can be summarised in a few stages, these strategies will cater to diverse learning styles and promote engagement. Firstly building a strong foundation, creating phonemic awareness (ability to hear and manipulate sounds in words), in addition to this phonics instruction (relationship between letters and sounds to help student decode words). Secondly, reading aloud, helps students to demonstrate fluent reading and expressive intonation. Thirdly, questioning techniques, specifically open-ended and guided questions.

For this, I think it is important that students watch and read as many English movies and books as possible, I've had the greatest success from my teaching when students have done this in their spare time. It is also good to know the importance and differences between pronunciation and enunciation. Pronunciation: Correct sounds of words Enunciation: Clarity and distinctness of speech. I am able to show students the differences between these, and also how to improve both of them.

Rest assured I have lessons and techniques that can help break these down so you can learn them. For example A complex sentence: A complex sentence is made up of a main clause and a subordinate clause connected to each other with a subordinating conjunction. However, with all this information, you might get confused! In English, we use complex sentences to just add some extra information to the sentence or topic. It's that easy.

I can share, the revision techniques that I use. For my students, I will ask about the English exam that they are doing and find out more about the exam. For example past papers, exam topics and specific exam questions. From this, I would make tailored revision, so students have the best chance of achieving high scores in there exams.
Making sure that the students are happy and motivated in lessons is very important not just for them but for me too! The lesson feels very long when my students aren't responding in the way that I would like. So I go out of my way to tailor-make all my lessons. Specific to the student.
