Solving problems is the most effective way to allow students to understand concepts. I believe the best way for students to learn is by solving problems together then finding the gaps in knowledge and teaching the content to fill these gaps.

Algebra and calculus are the concepts that I am better at teaching. I have just sat the IB exams 2 weeks ago and hence I know the curriculum pretty well.

I communicate with parents about what we learned in that lesson and how the child is currently progressing.

I think that students should complete at least the homework set before the next lesson.

I build a bond with the student first to develop trust and to learn what type of person they are. Depending on how they respond to different teaching styles I can adapt how I teach to be best suitable for the student.
