Hello! My name is Rachel. I was born and raised in Hong Kong, and I speak Cantonese, English, Spanish, and Mandarin. Languages have always fascinated me. Growing up in a Chinese school, I made it a point to improve my English through self-study. Starting from barely being able to speak a word, I worked my way up until people would mistake me for a native speaker.

My love for languages continued and led me to Central America, where I spent 6 months backpacking to learn Spanish. Language learning makes me feel truly alive. Nothing brings me more joy than the idea of helping others experience this same passion. Through my own journey of learning languages outside of traditional classroom settings, I've gained valuable insights that I'm excited to share with future students, helping them discover their own path to language mastery.

Give me a chance to show you that language learning goes far beyond traditional textbooks and grammar drills. Drawing from my personal experience of self-teaching English and learning Spanish through immersion, I can introduce you to engaging, practical, and enjoyable ways to master a new language.
