My approach to teaching writing is student-centered, practical, and results-driven. I begin by assessing the student’s current writing level, identifying specific strengths and areas for improvement—whether in grammar, structure, clarity, or creativity. From there, I tailor lessons to build confidence and competence in key writing components such as thesis development, coherence, paragraph transitions, vocabulary, and proper formatting. I use guided writing exercises, sample essays, editing practice, and real-time feedback to help students internalize good writing habits. I also encourage regular writing, whether short responses or full essays, with constructive critique focused on progress rather than perfection. Ultimately, my goal is to help each student find their voice, express their ideas clearly, and meet academic or exam-specific writing standards—like those required in the SAT, IELTS, or school coursework.
