With over 1000 hours of experience, I have developed my own method which is very flexible depending on my student. Usually, I try to incorporate various "exercises" within the session, starting with some conversation, moving onto a more formal lesson, and typically ending with a reading and a small quiz (totally casual, so don't be scared!) to better memorize what was just learned.
