Passionate about teaching, I have 12 years of experience in International Schools, teaching Italian GCSE and IBDP at ab initio, B Standard, and Higher levels. I also have 3 years of experience in providing private lessons. I hold a Masters in Engineering and I am a native Italian speaker. Moreover, I am certified to teach Italian as a second language by the University of Perugia.

Organization, enthusiasm, and positivity are my strengths. In my lessons, I strive to maximize the use of Italian, depending on the student's starting level. I focus on developing the four skills simultaneously: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. I provide resources such as textbooks, workbooks, and worksheets in electronic format.

The frequency of lessons depends on the student's objectives. For an intensive course, lessons would be held three times a week. Otherwise, one to two lessons per week ensure steady progress. Practice is provided at different levels of complexity until the student masters command of the language, both in spoken and written contexts. Visual, listening, and hands-on learning methods are utilized. Students are engaged, focused, and in a state of flow. Learning is made enjoyable and intrinsically rewarding through the use of authentic materials, videos, audios, and role-plays.
