Hi, I'm Daniel, an Economics and writing tutor based in Johannesburg. In addition to majoring in Economics at university, I've also worked as a journalist for the past few years. This has given me not only a theoretical understanding of Economics but also experience in understanding the real-world application of the field and how best to communicate complex concepts to someone with little understanding of economic theory.

I am incredibly passionate about Economics, given its importance in our everyday lives. It is the bridge between the social sciences and commerce fields of study, between people and business, and produces a mode of thinking that can benefit you no matter where your path takes you in life.

Whether you're in high school or university, I look forward to assisting you in understanding the incredible world of economics! Let's do this!

My first lessons are always free, as I believe it's worth testing the waters with any new educator. This period can also be used to discuss your curriculum or module(s) so that I can be prepared for future lessons.

While these classes may be an attempt to improve performance in the classroom or lecture hall, I believe that extra classes should not be a replica of what happens during class. i.e. doing activities and working our way through the textbook and other coursework. Therefore, I try to prepare the experience to be interesting and applicable to everyday life for the learner, especially when the content is difficult to relate to.
