I am a passionate and dedicated educator with an Honours degree in Education and extensive experience supporting learners across a wide range of academic levels. I specialise in English Language and Literature, with a strong focus on grammar development, reading comprehension, writing skills, and exam preparation. I also assist learners with English as an additional language, helping them build confidence in communication, sentence structure, and academic writing.

Based in Johannesburg, South Africa, I have worked with learners from primary school through to high school, including those preparing for formal assessments and examinations. My experience includes working within CAPS and IEB-aligned curricula, which allows me to effectively support learners who need structured academic guidance and targeted revision.

My teaching style is patient, structured, and highly supportive. I believe that every learner has the ability to succeed when concepts are explained clearly and learning takes place in a safe and encouraging environment. I break down complex grammar and writing rules into simple, practical steps, making them easier to understand and apply. Lessons are interactive and tailored to each learner’s individual needs, ensuring that students remain engaged and actively involved in their learning process.

One of the aspects that sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to adapt my teaching approach to different learning styles, including learners who may struggle with traditional classroom methods.
