I am a full-time tutor with a strong focus on Mathematics, Physics, Combined Science, and Civil Engineering. I hold an M.Phil. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from HKUST and have taught at the university level. I offer thorough tutoring for secondary students (HKDSE, IGCSE, IBDP) and university learners in Hong Kong.
I help students understand concepts rather than just memorise facts. I explain difficult STEM topics in simple terms, using real-life examples and interactive problem-solving. My time as a Teaching Assistant at HKUST, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and the University of Massachusetts Lowell taught me how to make challenging engineering and science topics easier and more engaging for students at all levels.
With my engineering background and recent one-on-one tutoring experience, I help students prepare for public exams and develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I can teach in English, Cantonese, or Mandarin, depending on what suits each student best.
I am based in Hong Kong and offer lessons both in person and online. I support students preparing for HKDSE, IGCSE, and IB exams, as well as those studying STEM subjects from secondary school through university. I do more than explain concepts in my teaching. Students learn best when they connect new ideas to what they already know. Instead of using the same method for everyone, I adjust my teaching to fit each student.

I get to know each student’s learning style, strengths, challenges, and interests. Then I adjust my lessons, examples, and activities to match their needs. This way, every student gets support, feels more confident, and understands the subject better. Leggi di meno
