Hi! I’m a Gen Z Chinese language tutor based in the east side of Singapore, and I’m excited to help beginners learn Mandarin! I hope to make learning Chinese easy and fun for everyone. Currently no experience with teaching, but have gotten good o levels results of raw 7 net 3, As for 8 subjects. I grew up in a Chinese speaking environment and took higher Chinese in secondary school, and got A1 for o levels Chinese and A2 for higher Chinese. I’ve always liked Math and have gotten A1s for both A math and E math for o levels. Graduated from Raffles Institution and am currently waiting for results to be released.

I am Myat, who holds an Australian Master's Degree in Law, and has 3 years of teaching experience in educating Chinese, English, and law in general. I have completed HSK Level 5 in Chinese and achieved an IELTS band score of 7.5 in English.

I teach Chinese and Cantonese. I prefer using Zoom and online platforms to teach, or meeting at outside coffee shops. I am a passionate teacher and good communicator.

For Mandarin learning, focus on acquiring foundational vocabulary, basic sentence structures, and everyday conversational phrases. For Beginner Cantonese, prioritize listening and speaking practice to develop fluency and good pronunciation, with a particular emphasis on tones.
