As an English teacher, I want to be able to take part in the development and enrichment of students' lives as they prepare for their futures. I provide a classroom of stability and support for all students, encouraging them to excel in all that they do. I believe that planning and obtaining good resources before each lesson is very important, whatever it may be, and strategically link them in the flow of my teaching. My enthusiasm and well-planned preparation will improve the students' attention and motivation rates, resulting in good behaviour and results. I recognise that students have different abilities; therefore, I use various techniques with groups and individuals. I believe in rewarding good behaviour through praise and encouragement and deal with poor performance fairly and constructively. As a teacher trainer, I work collaboratively with teaching teams to ensure that they are working effectively and are able to critically evaluate their own performance in order to grow personally and professionally.
