I am a native British native English speaker, with 10 years experience of teaching both children and adults. My aim is to customise lessons to suit your needs with an emphasis on continuous assessment. My lessons are interactive, fun and ultimately progressive. I have a proven track record of enabling students to succeed in their learning outcomes.

I am a fun, experienced English tutor living in Cape Town (Southern Suburbs) and teaching English both online and in person. I would love to add more lessons to my schedule and help push your marks up while having fun doing it!

I am a qualified junior/ intermediate teacher who has taught all subject areas except for French. In my BA undergraduate I also was apart of many high school classrooms working with students in the areas of science, religion, and health studies. I love working with children of all ages. I have a triple minor in English, religion, and psychology. I have worked with children ages 5-18 in many aspects of my life including sports (that I coach), and through teaching in the classroom. I am located in Brantford.

I am a certified English Language Arts and Reading teacher in the Houston, TX area. I am going into my 3rd year of teaching. I've taught 6th and 7th grade so far and this year I'm not quite sure which grade level I'm going to do. I enjoy making videos with my students and leaving them with an impression that keeps learning on their minds.

Chris finished his undergraduate degree in Drama and Theatre studies at The University of Chester in 2016. He later returned to complete a PGCE in Secondary Drama Education, where having met the required standards, he qualified as an Outstanding Teacher of Drama in 2018. He has previously worked in two UK schools teaching Drama and also has some leadership experience as the Assistant Head of Key Stage 4. He now joins Amnuay Silpa School as a teacher of Drama. Chris’ passion for working with young people began while volunteering as a director for a community youth theatre project in 2010. This initial experience of directing small stage productions has grown exponentially ever since. More recently, he has spent 3 months of the previous 5 years in America working as the Drama programme coordinator at a summer camp in Pennsylvania. These experiences have shaped Chris’ approach to teaching and his pedagogical methods. One particular focus of all Chris’ lessons is promoting pupil voice. He believes educators must ensure that they create the correct conditions needed to foster positive relationships and build productive learning environments in order to achieve this. In terms of being a drama teacher, this means that it is ultimately his responsibility each lesson, to inspire young people to exceed their own expectations by being passionate and knowledgeable, modelling a constant curiosity and love of learning. His goal as a teacher is to foster self-awareness in his classes and encourage student ownership of learning. Within his teaching practice, he takes a progressive approach towards the application of teaching and learning. Inquiry learning, problem based learning, activated learning, dialogue, debate and discussion are all approaches he utilises within his practice. Finally, Chris is an enthusiast for film and video production and the stage; having much experience as an actor, theatre technician and director.
