After obtaining my bachelor's degree in History from NTU and graduating on the Dean's List (in the top 5% of the cohort!), I traveled to Spain to teach at a high school. My focus was on enhancing students' pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar skills through interactive and engaging teaching methods. I lived in Canada and United States for over 16 years. I have been teaching English to all ages and levels for over 15 years. The lessons will focus on daily life and conversational English. The English lessons are not rote learning. I have a Masters degree in History and a Bachelors degree in English.

Currently, I am a Year 1 science student at Monash University in Australia, majoring in Biological Sciences (Microbiology and Marine Biology). I graduated from the German European School in Singapore in June 2023. In my English A Language and Literature course, I achieved a score of 6 overall, with a 7 for my paper two and 6s for both my oral assessment and paper one. Additionally, I attained a score of 5 in my Biology HL course, with a 7 in my research coursework. Furthermore, I am a Bronze winner for both the British Biology Olympiad and the Royal Society Chemistry Olympiad. I have experience in tutoring younger students through my service hours at school. I am fluent in English, German, Cantonese, and Mandarin, able to speak, read, and write in both traditional and simplified Chinese. I am also willing to stay online and answer questions after class.
