I have armed myself with more than five years of pedagogical experience. I started working as a part-time tutor when I was a sophomore. Most of my students were young learners, cramming for IELTS/TOEFL tests. Before completing my bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Liberal Arts at Mahidol University, I had decided to become a freelance tutor and started developing English courses on my own. These courses are based on the idea of creative, discussion-based, and interactive learning, with the aim of bolstering students' confidence in using English in the long term. I won the 'Academic Excellence Scholarship' from the University of York, UK. Since gaining a master's degree in MA English Literary Studies from York, I have devoted myself to online teaching. This time, I teach English and English literature to high school students, university students, and adult learners. Apart from being an ardent tutor, I strive to be an attentive listener and supporter.

My name is Frank (Lifu), I am 23 years old. I immigrated to Canada when I was just 10 years old. I completed my bachelor’s degree in civil engineering at McMaster University with a 3.7/4.0 GPA. I recently took a full-time position with a top structural engineering consulting firm in Hong Kong. I am very passionate in inspiring the young generation and enjoy teaching others. Thus, I consider this to be a hobby and not a job. Since moving to Canada, I mainly speak English but can also speak Mandarin. I am passionate in subjects like Math, Physics and English. I am located in Causeway Bay; I am able to conduct online tutoring as well as home tutoring at the student’s place. However, I prefer teaching in person, as I believe it is more effective.
