Hi there! I'm June and have completed my A-levels in biology, chemistry and psychology with predicted grades of 3 A*s, as I am hoping to further my studies in biochemistry in the coming year at Imperial College London. As a tutor, I have experiences tutoring primary and secondary kids in english literature, psychology and sciences.

I teach the English language to students. I want to ensure that my students are proficient both in written and spoken English.

I completed my secondary education locally and received my undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto. I later completed my M.Phil degree at the University of Hong Kong. Teaching is one of the passions of my life, apart from going to the gym and playing the piano, harp, and cello. Being a mature adult, I can empathize with the challenges and be able to devise flexible teaching methods to accommodate their specific needs and wants. There is always honest and transparent ongoing communication with the parent(s) regarding the progress of the child. Positive reinforcement and motivation are keys to my teaching style. I push or pull when the student is in approach or avoidance mode. Synchronizing with your child's development, together we work towards letting him/her shine their rightful light.
