I am a dedicated Finance, Accounting, and Mathematics tutor based in Johannesburg with over 3 years of tutoring experience at both high school and university level. I hold a BCom in Finance and Investments as well as a BCom Honours in Financial Planning, where I graduated top of my class (2022). Over the years, I have successfully tutored school learners in Accounting and Mathematics (Grades 8–10) and university students from first year through to honours level in subjects including Accounting, Finance, Investments, Insurance, and Financial Planning. My own academic journey, where I achieved distinctions in Accounting and Investments, equips me with both the technical expertise and practical insight to simplify complex concepts. What sets me apart is my student-focused teaching style. I adapt my approach to each learner’s needs, whether that means breaking down technical topics into easy-to-understand steps, providing real-world examples from the finance industry, or offering exam preparation strategies. My goal is not only to help students improve their marks but also to build their confidence and long-term understanding. From my own personal experience, I was a below-average school student who decided to tackle my studies in a unique manner that enhanced my learning and helped me achieve the Top Student status.
