I am a 2nd year undergraduate at NUS, majoring in Accountancy and Finance. I enjoy trading forex and investing in the stock markets in my free time. I have tutored Sec 1, 3 and 4 mathematics and Sec 1 science. I have had many experiences holding leadership positions since secondary school and I believe in having a system for teaching.

I have a Master in Business and Administration (MBA) from York Schulich School of Business. That was where I first gained teaching experience when I was a teaching assistance for two years while I was studying for my MBA. I feel most comfortable teaching students in Mathematics and Business related subjects. I am a career trainer, training corporate staff in new systems and processes. I felt that being a trainer is very much like a teacher. I need to find out the most effective way to explain concepts and processes to my trainees. I have been teaching and tutoring mathematics and business courses since Fall of 2016. I am currently tutoring math for students from Grade 2 to 12. I am also preparing students for their English and Math Grade 8 International Baccalaureate (IB) entrance examination. I have strong communication skills and I am very persistence. I like to help students achieving their academic goals and fulfilling their dreams. I am fluent in both Cantonese and Mandarin.

I have been a Maths and Science fanatic since high school. I love explaining really complex ideas to people and have been told by fellow students and teachers alike, that I am very good at it. I am located in the My Domain Student Living in Wynberg, but I am able to travel considerable distances up and down Main Road as transportation is available. My teaching style involves a lot of interaction between the student and myself, putting more focus on understanding what's being learned, instead of just memorizing it. My philosophy is that everything, regardless of how complicated it is, can be broken down into simpler, more understandable pieces, allowing the broad topic to then be understood.
