Hi, I am Richard. I am a university student attending University of Surrey, majoring in Biomedical Engineering. I am a graduate from an ESF International School and have taken the IB Diploma pathway. I studied Physics and Chemistry at a Higher level and achieved a final grade of 37 IB. I am able to teach Maths and Sciences ranging from Grade 1 to Grade 9.
My name is Abhiyendra. I was previously teaching students in UAE full-time for 2 years in person and currently teach students online from UAE, Singapore and Italy. I hold a BTech & MTech in Mathematics and Computing from IIT Delhi which is the best college in India for Engineering.
I primarily focus on teaching Mathematics & Computers or quantitative subjects like Statistics, Physics, Economics and Business.
I have taught students at all levels including university for all curriculums like IGCSE, A level , O level , APs, GCSE, ICSE, CBSE, French B, IB - HL /SL/ studies, SAT subjective for Maths/Physics, Maths for SAT I/ACT, Step for UK, GMAT , GRE, school admission tests, Calculus I , II, probability , Statistics to more than 180 students from more than 55 different nationalities in the age group of 9 to 45 years. I have done college counselling for more than 350 students of which more than 180 students are studying or have completed their Bachelor's or Master's studies at Macromedia University of Applied Sciences, Germany. I am attaching my Maths Coach Bio & details for your kind reference.
I am interested in equipping the youth with the necessary mathematical skills required in the real world and in further studies. I enjoy showing students that Math has applications and is not there to make their lives difficult. For example, Trigonometry is used in Triangulation whereby the location of an object is determined. I am good at diagnosing students' problem areas and from there I customise lessons to how the student thinks. I can explain the same concept in at least three different ways.
A specialist maths and science tutor with over 6 years of tutoring experiences. I passed my matric with distinctions and went on to study engineering at one of the leading universities in this country. I started tutoring students in my second year at university and since I've worked with all kinds of students, some with specialised needs and have developed techniques to tailor lessons to specific individuals based on their unique needs.
I've further taken multiple advanced mathematics and physical sciences courses that have made me exceptionally sharp in different concepts and allow me the advantage of presenting concepts in multiple ways so my students can have better chances of truly understanding these concepts and excelling in their studies.
I am now an engineer, with a master's degree and busy completing a PhD. I'm extremely passionate about teaching and helping young minds understand these subjects better.
Passionate Math tutor and strives to achieve only the best!
Hello! I enjoy teaching mathematics to students who are struggling to understand. I help students find their joy and love for math by challenging them and providing a cheery environment for the students! I have been teaching students for a year and take pride in my student's smallest achievements as every effort they make is a step forward. I can be both passionate and strict during lessons to ensure the students perform to their best abilities without any regrets!
Experienced in Mathematics and Science at both NSC and GCSE levels, situated in the Southern Suburbs.
Experienced in GCSE, NSC, and IEB Mathematics and Physical Science tutoring. Former tutor at Balderstone Sports Institute under TurnACity Tutors. Recently attended the University of Cape Town studying a BBusSci, which is one of my passions. Located in the southern suburbs, Observatory, but I do not mind travelling. I enjoy an interactive teaching style and classroom (visual aids, brain teasers, etc.) as I find it encourages students who don't enjoy the subject to view it in a different, more fun way. Happy to answer any other queries!
My experience has been that one-to-one personal tuition has a unique value to students because of the ability to resolve the student's personal barriers to learning in a way that lays the foundations for a deep and long-lasting understanding of the subject.
I am a fourth-year electrical engineering student at Stellenbosch University who loves Mathematics.
I am a 4th-year Electrical Engineering student who loves Mathematics and all things science. I have helped students before and try to explain topics in a way that excites them. Good tutors have helped me achieve great marks in school and prepared me for university, and I would like to pass on the favour.
I have taught all secondary math subjects from pre-algebra to AP Calculus and AP Statistics. I spent ten years teaching university courses (College Algebra, Statistics) and 14 years in China teaching Australian and AP curricula. I am now living in Chiang Mai and looking to do some online work as I ease slowly towards retirement.
My style is to use a simplistic approach to teaching the subject. Focus directly on the mathematics and avoid getting stuck in the jargon and notation.
I am currently studying technology-assisted teaching based on computer algebra systems and artificial intelligence. These are very advantageous in online teaching situations and using scenario-based mathematical instruction.
Teaching to me is about mentoring, building confidence, and motivating the students in order to help them understand the subject. Once they have a grasp on it, they will likely enjoy it and continue to practice it beyond the classroom. I believe that tutoring complements the work done in school by giving students an extra tool to help them achieve higher levels of understanding and success.
