I am very approachable and have always loved working with students. I earned my BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from the University of Toronto, and as a former IB (NIST) student myself, I understand the resources students need to succeed in this curriculum. I believe there are no weak students, only weak teachers; believe it or not, I once struggled with math myself. Yet, I managed to get a 7 in IB HL Math AA, all thanks to a teacher who taught me how to think about and approach problems. I make hard concepts easy to understand and provide clean, organized notes and structured solutions to aid learning. I teach the way I wish I had been taught: with personal attention, clarity, and as a passionate teacher who motivates students and helps them fall in love with math. I am living proof that anyone, regardless of their starting skill level, can excel at math. I teach students of all ages and prepare them for the years ahead. Hello! I am a university mathematics education lecturer based in Bangkok, Thailand. I have experience teaching mathematics to students with various learning styles and academic backgrounds. I offer online lessons for middle school, high school, and introductory undergraduate students. Subjects include algebra, calculus, trigonometry, probability and statistics, and geometry. I have been teaching in Hong Kong for the last 11 years. Many of my previous students have scored highly on their IGCSEs (multiple A*s) as well as their IB/AP finals. Many have gone on to excellent universities (such as the University of Michigan, USA or the University of Edinburgh, UK).
