I am a high school math teacher with over 14 years of experience in all math up to Algebra I and Geometry. My experience also includes working with students with learning disabilites. I personally used to struggle with math as a young child, but now, I love it!! As a past struggling math student, I know what it feels like to "just not get it". There is more than one way to get the same answer in math and I can show you a way that will make sense to you. Since completing my PGCE at the University of Manchester in 2012, I worked in a Primary school for over 3 years which equipped me with a wealth of experience as a Good to Outstanding Class Teacher and also as a Subject Leader for Science and PE. I have also spent time as a Supply Teacher which enabled me to spend time with my family when needed but also gave me invaluable experience across all Primary year groups in a diverse range of schools. My teaching style is to create a positive and dynamic learning environment that enables children to thrive and succeed at what they do. I am experienced in SATs and 11+ examination preparation. My passions are Maths and SPAG. The children I teach make excellent progress and this is reflected in my consistently good results in the classroom.

Grew up in San Antonio, TX, hated school and only did the bare mininum to make ok grades. Graduated and went to the University of Houston for Accounting and almost failed out my first year because I didn't havethe mindsent of a learner. Thankfully I got it together with the help of others and really digging in and figuring it out. Now I work as a teacher to help students who were like me, who don't know how to study yet or don't have the mindset of success and help them maximize their natural greatness!

I have been a primary school teacher for nine years - and I love my job! During my time as a teacher, I have really enjoyed getting to know all of the children in my classes. My name is Christina and I currently resides in Rondebosch, Cape Town. I have found my passion in assisting and motivating struggling learners or students. I am currently studying master in mechanical engineering at the University of Bath and doing a placement in London. I am available to teach mathematics according to your flexibility. I got good grades in school, so be my student (I just need money). But in all seriousness, I got 11A in GCSE and A*AB (that B is 79) in A-Level for Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics.
