I was language instructor for more than five years and also have about five years of combined online working experience as a tutor, test scorer and college professor. Additionally, for the last six years, I have been an instructional coach and a professional development speaker for teachers of public and private schools. My digital literacy skills are sharp and current, as I have focused on building, and keeping updated, the technological competencies needed to engage, motivate and educate the new generations of students. My teaching style is friendly, respectful, and result-oriented, which helps me establish a good rapport with students. I am competent in Communicative Language Teaching, widely recognized as a most effective way of promoting authentic language acquisition. Also, I believe that to teach a foreign, or second language, one must keep a flexible stance when working the grammar of L2.
