My name is Frank, and I am a qualified native British English teacher with more than 22 years of teaching and business experience in Hong Kong and across Asia.

I hold a CELTA teaching qualification and an MBA from Durham University in the UK. I speak with a clear and easy-to-understand British accent, and I have successfully taught students ranging from primary and secondary learners to business professionals, managers, entrepreneurs, and international sales teams.

Over the years, I have worked with students from many leading local and international schools in Hong Kong, as well as professionals from a wide range of industries.

Having lived in Hong Kong for more than two decades, I understand the academic and professional pressures many learners face when using English in international environments. My own children were educated in international schools in Hong Kong and are now studying at boarding schools in the UK, giving me additional insight into both the Hong Kong and British education systems.

In addition to teaching, I spent many years running an international business in Hong Kong, working closely with clients, factories, buyers, and professionals from around the world. This experience allows me to teach not only textbook English, but also the communication skills, confidence, and cultural awareness needed in real-life international situations.

I also create online educational content related to British communication, UK culture, speaking confidence, and international communication skills for learners and professionals.

My lessons are supportive, engaging, and personalised to each student’s needs. I focus strongly on helping learners communicate more naturally, confidently, and effectively—whether for school, university preparation, interviews, overseas study, presentations, business, or everyday conversation.

Many learners already understand English reasonably well but struggle to express themselves clearly and naturally in real conversations, academic discussions, interviews, presentations, and professional environments.
