Hi everyone! I'm Kyla a biologist student. Even though I'm still a student I can manage to help and teach you as long as I can!

I am passionate about teaching and I would like to utilise my free time in teaching young studeny in an innovative way.

I am a licensed secondary teacher with almost 7 years experience in teaching both college and secondary students. Moreover, I am also a registered nurse which could add up to more knowledgable ideas and experience to detail and explain more further biology lessons, in order for the students to understand and enjoy every single hour of studying science subject.

Having studied at King George V School, I am familiar with the GCSE and IB curricula. After completing my high school years, I have studied a Masters of Pharmacy at the University of Nottingham. After this, I have completed a clinical pharmacy diploma at the DeMontford university. As a practising pharmacist, with a good understanding of scientific principles, I hope to spread my knowledge amongst students studying the subjects relevant to my field. Having also done economics and English, I would also teach these two subjects for students learning it at a lower grade.

I have been tutoring students in the Biological Sciences and Writing in New York for many years. I can understand that learning certain concepts from Science can be difficult so I know exactly how to help students. My students have always let me know how their exam scores improved after I had helped them. That means a lot to me. With being a medical student right now, I have great in depth knowledge of Physiology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology and much more! Hello I am a life science tutor that resides in Khayelitsha, Capetown. My tutoring journey started in 2008 where I worked with Funda Fundisa tutoring organisation. From this experience I learnt that that student relate better to tutors, maybe due to small groups and also the lack of pressure to perform. Life science, I believe it is not supposed to be difficult as we and nature around us are practical experiments. I have grown the love of Life Science through my highschool teachers and my university lectures, it was not taught in drudgery but in an interesting way. This is what I want to share with the students that are partaking the journey. My approach to tutoring is not intimidating and I always seek to make veryone comfortable and give a chance to actively participate, that way everyone feels that they are valued.
