Hi, my name is Salma Moge, and I have previously studied Biological Science in my Bachelor degree for 3 years at the University of Wolverhampton. I have demonstrated, through my completion of coursework, that I’m competent in the use of a range of ICT including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint & Excel. Additionally, I live in Birmingham, UK, therefore I can teach Science in fluent English. I have excellent subject knowledge in Science, as I’ve also completed an MSc in Immunology and Immunotherapy at the University Of Birmingham for a year. During my time in my masters, I was given the opportunity to present different scientific research papers every week for an audience. I was happy to do so because I enjoyed presenting and explaining new scientific research and teaching it to my peers. I believe this has given me the confidence and skills to apply to this teaching in this tutoring position. Therefore, the main subject I will teach is Biology. I have previously taught at a primary school for work experience. This increased my interactive and engagement skills with young children and I’m very proud of this experience. My teaching style is very much explained and teach, then discuss each concept that was taught using an example question.
