Science is my passion and I am a Plant Biotechnology Honours Graduate. I followed my quest for knowledge and obtained a Medical Science honours degree in Human Genetics. I love to teach science, and hopefully, ignite the same passion that I have for this fascinating subject!

Hi! I'm Ciara, and I'm in my second year of a Bachelor of Forensic Science at UTS. I am extremely passionate about science in general and am enthusiastic about extending my knowledge to students who may be looking to achieve higher marks or even pursue a career in science themselves. If that sounds like you, and you live in the South-West Sydney region, then I'm the perfect tutor for you! My teaching style will involve using the curriculum for the subject you wish to study, as well as work provided to you by your teachers to fortify your knowledge and allow you to meet the goals that have been set by them so that you can achieve the highest marks possible. I'm willing to take on any students that need help with general science classes, as well as high school biology and chemistry. Unfortunately, due to the nature of my degree, I am unable to teach physics, but am highly qualified for the other subjects mentioned, with consistent achievements of Distinctions and High Distinctions throughout my university career. As we all know, education is the core of success. Teaching is a selfless way of life; the more time you spend in the education system, the more you learn. As a tutor, I want to encourage young and old students to excel in their education, enhance their skills, and achieve success in their lives. I completed my Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering and I am currently pursuing my PhD in Biotechnology, which will be completed by the end of December 2021. During my studies, I focused on various biological sciences subjects such as Biology, Cell Biology, Immunology, Virology, Molecular Biology, and Microbiology. I have a strong command of these subjects both verbally and practically. I have previous experience teaching at the school level in different schools in Pakistan, as well as experience as a private tutor. Currently, I am tutoring IB biology to a student, and I have also taught A-level biology as a private tutor to other students. Teaching is my passion. Having studied at King George V School, I am familiar with the GCSE and IB curricula. After completing my high school years, I have studied a Masters of Pharmacy at the University of Nottingham. After this, I have completed a clinical pharmacy diploma at the DeMontford university. As a practising pharmacist, with a good understanding of scientific principles, I hope to spread my knowledge amongst students studying the subjects relevant to my field. Having also done economics and English, I would also teach these two subjects for students learning it at a lower grade.
