Hi, I am currently studying Bioengineering for my Masters at Imperial College London. My main interests lie in neuroscience and technology, and I hope to pursue a PhD in the future and become a lecturer. Additionally, I have completed a BSc in Biomedical Sciences at UCL, where I received 8A*s and 3As for my GCSEs, and graduated with A*A*AA for Maths, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics at A-level. Throughout my secondary school years, I was consistently nominated as the top student in several subjects, such as Maths, Chemistry, and Physics. I have also achieved silver in both Maths and Biology Olympiad. I am able to teach students of all levels, ranging from primary school students to A-level students, specifically for science and maths subjects. I have experience with various exam boards, including UK and IGCSEs. I am also able to provide support for school entry exams (11+ or 13+) if needed. I have been tutoring for both tutoring companies and private students for a duration of 5 years. In terms of my tutoring style, I focus on creating an interactive and friendly environment. I aim to help students develop their problem-solving skills on their own and remain patient and supportive to boost their self-esteem. I adapt my teaching style to accommodate the learning pace and preferences of each student. For mock or exam preparation, I provide sessions that involve solving challenging questions. If students are struggling with a particular topic, I also offer sessions to cover the content in a way that deepens their understanding. Furthermore, I can provide helpful techniques and tips to excel in exams. I have also written model answers and resources for PMT Education, specifically for maths and sciences, across various exam boards (GCSE to A-level). As a result, I am well-versed in the styles and content of each exam board.

I am a British Korean who studied and was raised in the UK. I am a qualified medical doctor in the UK. I have just moved to Hong Kong and am currently taking a gap year. I graduated from Medical School at Imperial College London in 2020 and also achieved first-class honors in Biomedical Engineering BSc. I attained 3 A* and an A in my A-levels in the UK. I have extensive experience in teaching maths and sciences (biology, chemistry, physics) to a wide range of age groups from 4 to 17 years old and have taught seminars for group teaching. As part of my medical training, I have also completed teaching skills courses and been part of the medical school interview panels for 5 years. Being brought up in a traditional Korean family, I speak fluent Korean and English. Therefore, I am able to teach the above subjects in both languages and teach spoken Korean and English to a professional level. From my experiences, I have come to realize that everyone has their own way of learning, and it is the teacher's role to match that and help them along the road. I am a graduate of the prestigious University College London (UCL) with a BSc(Hons) in Pharmacology and Physiology. I have worked with a top scientific instruments company in the UK that collaborates with R&D departments of renowned Pharma clients such as GSK and Pfizer. I have a passion for Human anatomy and can help you ace your anatomy exams with minimal memorization. I specialize in anatomy but I am also prepared to teach other modules such as clinical surgery, Biology at IGCSE, A-levels and IB, Nursing, Physiotherapy modules, and more.
