I may be a beginner in teaching but I assure you that I will give my best potential to help you in class and boost your learning capabilities.

Main subjects I teach: Molecular biology, human physiology, neurobiology or general biology. Native english speaker with science research experience in the US, Switzerland and Hong Kong. I graduated with honors from University of California, San Diego, majoring in molecular biology. I worked as a teaching assistant for several biology courses during my undergraduate years. This experience has taught me how to gauge student's understanding as well as how to communicate and explain problems in a clear and straightforward way. Learning biology need not be a tedious chore! My goal is to make learning science managable and fun. I hope to pass on my passion for science to my students.

My name is Olivia, and I am currently a PhD student at UC Davis, studing environmental engineering. My work focuses on biological treatment of trace organic contaminants (e.g. pesticides) in water. I have two years of experience as a teaching assistant for undergraduates, and am knowledgable in many interconnected areas such as biology, chemistry, mathematics, engineering and ecology. I am passionate about making learning spaces comfortable and accessible for students of all backgrounds. Additionally, I pay close attention to my students' learning styles, and listen to their opinions on how they best take in and learn information. After finishing my Postdoctorate at Georgetown University in Neuroscience, I left academia to pursue a career in the industry. Having served as Director of Research for multiple biotech start-ups, I then started a consulting career which allows me to stay current in the field. To me, my students are a reflection of myself; therefore, I do my best to ensure they are prepared for their future careers. Currently, I am located in Phen District, Udon Thani, Thailand.

Hi there! My name is Coco, and I'm excited to help you in your biology and English learning journey. I have volunteered as a tutor in English and I have achieved all 7s for my IBDP examinations in biology (Higher Level). Additionally, I have been accepted into the University of Hong Kong.

Graduating with an International Baccalaureate Diploma, I am a year two student currently studying at the University of Melbourne, majoring in Animal Health and Diseases. I take pride in my organization and good critical thinking, as well as analytical skills in learning. I have been engaged in learning Biology throughout my secondary education, and am confident in all areas of the field. In addition, I am also confident in Chemistry and the general sciences. I am now studying the Bachelor of Science, and would focus on Veterinary Sciences and Animal Health in my later years of university. Before completing secondary school, I have been a tutor for the school’s English reading club, which aims to improve reading, writing and speaking skills of students in younger years.
