I am an experienced Math and Science tutor, specializing in Primary Math and Science (from Primary 3 to PSLE) and Secondary Math and Science (from Secondary 1 to O Levels). I focus on building a strong foundation for my students, gradually increasing the difficulty of the topics to ensure understanding and mastery. I am willing to travel within Singapore and will provide my contact information upon request.
I am a retired US Physics (including AP Physics) and Chemistry teacher (including AP), with over 35 years of experience. I have a Master's Degree in Chemistry.
I am Deena, a bachelor's student in chemical science and engineering at the University of Twente. I have previously studied pharmacy and obtained an American high school diploma with excellent scores. I enjoy breaking down complex topics into understandable portions and find great joy in teaching them to other students. I have over three years of experience teaching elementary, middle, high school, and university students, both virtually and in person. I am especially passionate about teaching chemistry, biology, mathematics, and physics. Additionally, I am fluent in Arabic and English.
I value understanding what students want to achieve in their academic progress and assisting them in reaching their goals. I believe that each student has a different learning style, so I would love to personalise my teaching methods to achieve the best outcomes. I am always open to feedback (receiving and giving) to improve the learning experience. I am looking forward to helping you enjoy science more!
I am currently a prospective medical student who is passionate about the disciplines of chemistry and mathematics. I believe I am very patient and have had numerous experiences in tutoring children. My accomplishments include achieving a 42 in the International Baccalaureate, with 7s in Chemistry and Maths, and also achieving a 99 in IGSCE for Maths and Chemistry.
To give you a glimpse of my tutoring style, I would provide detailed descriptions of methodology, along with lots of practice questions and model answers. This method has been scientifically proven to provide students with adequate resources to achieve their goals, and it has helped me in the past.

I teach Chemistry and I am located at Brits. I am willing to travel to Pretoria. I have over 10 work related laboratory experience and BTech in CHEMISTRY and National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry. I am registered as a Scientist with the South council for Natural Scientific Profession. I am also trained assessor AND moderator in the process of registering with SETA.
My name is Aneesa. I have been a student at the University of the Witwatersrand for the last 10 years, pursuing degrees in Chemistry. I have my BSc (2016-2018), Hons (2019), and Masters (2020 - 2022) degrees in chemistry. I have spent the last three years conducting chemistry lab research towards a doctoral degree in chemistry, but have decided to take a break from my studies. I would like to keep in touch with chemistry and feel like tutoring is an excellent way to do that.
While completing my postgraduate degrees, I was assigned both tutoring and demonstrating students, thus I have 5+ years of experience. I was also part of ChemSoc, an affordable tutoring program that PG students ran in the school of chemistry for undergraduate students, specifically first year students.
I have always loved chemistry since I first started working with it in school. I find it fascinating and enjoy helping others understand it and improve their grades, whether to pass or achieve a high grade, based on their goals. I am patient and dedicated. I do not expect you to know everything during the lesson. If you make a mistake, I will correct you. If you do not know, I will explain or teach it to you.
I prefer students to send me questions in advance that they would like to tackle during the lesson. However, if they are uncertain, I can provide questions from my side that we can work on or we can simply have an overview lesson where I break down the topic and concepts. I like to use a whiteboard, chalkboard, or paper while solving problems with the student. We can do mock tests, work on past papers, or practice many examples.
I recommend one lesson a week to help the student stay on top of their work and not fall behind. If a student would like more than one lesson a week, that is fine with me. I am available Monday through Sunday. I have an open calendar this year and would love to have lessons at a time that is most convenient for you. Please give me a chance if you need help with chemistry!
