Hello! I am a passionate Preschool Chinese Tutor with 4 years of teaching experience, currently teaching N1–K2 students in a tuition centre in Singapore. Over the years, I have guided more than 400 young learners in their Mandarin journey. I achieved the highest grade in A-Level Chinese, and I believe that strong language foundations should start from young. With preschoolers, my focus is on building listening and speaking confidence first, before gradually introducing reading and simple character recognition. I understand that young children have different personalities and attention spans. Some are shy, some are active, and some need a little more encouragement. I create a warm, patient and encouraging learning environment where children feel safe to speak and express themselves. My lessons are interactive and structured, incorporating storytelling, songs, guided conversations and fun activities to help children develop interest and confidence in Mandarin.
