For ten of those years, I proudly served as the principal of a South African school, where I had the opportunity to shape educational policies and inspire both students and staff alike. My journey led me to Thailand, where I have resided for more than four years. This cultural transition has enriched my perspective on education, allowing me to appreciate the diversity and unique challenges that come with teaching in a new environment. I started out teaching Art and Design alongside English before becoming a Food and Nutrition teacher. I have been very fortunate to be able to teach in subject areas that I am passionate about, merging both my love of the English language and ways of navigating stories with different art styles. My other passion is food and fitness, both of which I have once again been very fortunate to teach in the UK.
