Hello I am a teacher with experience of teaching domestic & Chinese students at all levels. I prefer to teach middle school or adult learners. I have a 120-hour TEFL course & have taught in UK/New Zeakand & China. I am patient, diligent, harworking & easy going. I offer 45-minute classes that can be tailored to the students' ability & needs. I offer online classes only.

My Name is Carol I am a 32year old teacher from South Africa. I graduated with a National diploma in credit management from Tshwane University of Technology. I also studied communication which is another term for business English. I have experience teaching English online and both classroom. After I graduated from college I worked as an Academic tutor where I taught English to children from the ages 7 to 14. I mentored students and assisted teachers in preparing the curriculums per grade,helping with exam preparations and helping with extra curricular activities. I have also taught online as an ESL English teacher. I taught children and both adults, Mostly I focused on grammar, vocabulary, IELTS speaking, free speaking and Business English. Teaching has been a passion of mine since a young age, Students are what make the lessons fun and worthwhile. Its very important as a teacher to understand your students and cater to their needs that's my philosophy as a teacher, nothing brings as much joy than knowing I am making a difference. I love travelling, sports and adventure and I would like to broaden my horizons by teaching abroad. I would like to learn other cultures and meet new people.

I am an educator with over 15 years of experience. Having worked with children of all ages, as well as children with additional needs, has allowed me to fine-tune my teaching skills to meet the needs of every child. My teaching methods focus on building symbol imagery and concept imagery to develop reading fluency, accuracy, and overall comprehension. The first free session is an initial consultation with the parents/carers, as well as a reading and comprehension assessment for the student. This will allow me to understand the student's needs better and plan their learning plan accordingly. For all students, I believe in the importance of making learning fun. This can look different according to the age and needs of each student, but I enjoy tailoring my sessions for students - for example, using themed motivational tools to engage learners and taking brief brain breaks to help students stay focused. I solely teach online using Zoom or Teams, so students must be able to use the platform independently. If students are too young to use the platform independently, I ask that a parent or carer sit in on all lessons to support with any technical issues.
