I was born and raised in Australia with a native Australian accent and conversational Cantonese. I am a friendly and bubbly university graduate who enjoys teaching the younger generation in great, fun ways to learn. My classes are very interactive, fun, and interesting. I understand that schooling in Hong Kong can be highly stressful, boring, and monotonous, so I have strategies to encourage your child to "want to learn." I am gentle in my approach and have seen some outstanding results from my students, which makes me extremely proud - just like the parents! I have taught one-on-one and small groups with a maximum of three students. Experienced with young children and teenagers, I am able to adapt to their personalities to find their best way of learning because everyone is different, including siblings! Hello, my name is Alice. I am an Australian born Chinese. I have been residing in Hong Kong since 2011. I am a Master graduate with a major in Art and professional practice. During my study, I have been teaching exchange students from overseas privately. Mainly focusing on day-to-day conversations (which is my best area), oral exam preparations, listening and creative writing. A lot of students are very good in writing and listening because schools have trained them to be able to read and write during exams. But when it comes to speaking, kids usually have a lack in confidence, so I have been teaching them how to speak confidently and to conquer their shyness in front of native speakers.
