Hello! I'm from the United States and have been travelling and living in Southeast Asia for over three years! I have been teaching for 5+ years with students of different ages and abilities. I'm looking forward to using my teaching experience to help further you or your child's educational goals, specifically in learning English. I am TEFL certified and a native English speaker. I love incorporating the students' interests into their lessons to help keep them engaged. The lessons will be structured using a three-part method. First, the students will be presented with the learning targets of the lesson. Then, they will practice those targets, usually with a worksheet or an activity. Finally, they will produce the targets of the lesson through speech. I will also be employing natural learning, which means that as different teaching moments arise, they will be addressed and taught. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I did my Bachelor's degree and Master's degree (thesis-based) in kinesiology (sports science) in Canada. I've worked for a local bike shop, the town, and as a kid's soccer coach and teaching assistant before. Currently, I am working for Garmin. I speak Cantonese, Mandarin, and English fluently. I am an Early Childhood Assistant. I work in daycares with children with a wide range of abilities. I typically work with Toddlers and pre-schoolers but I have a lot of experience with school-agers as well!
