As an online tutor, my aim is to supplement learning from other avenues, whether it be school, university, or a general desire to improve language proficiency. I believe the best way to do this is to know in advance what the student would like to cover and prepare relevant and engaging lessons accordingly. This approach has previously worked well on a weekly basis or simply for one-off sessions to assess or review English language skills. I can tutor for the full range of proficiency levels and have experience teaching students with no prior experience as well as those who wish to hone their fluency through conversation. I am more than happy to meet and discuss potential tutoring before making any final decisions.

I have: - Two bachelor's degrees in Commerce and Science from the Australian National University. - A master's degree in Education from the University of Melbourne. - Three years of teaching experience at an elite private school in Melbourne. I am fluent in both Thai and English. As a teacher, I recognize that students learn differently. I will identify the best method to help engage and immerse you in the language.

I'm half Chinese, half English. I have experience in teaching children from Kindergarten to Primary 6 years. I am also IB PYP trained so will incorporate inquiry approaches to my lessons. My name is Dana. I am a native English tutor based in Sai Kung. Hello, I'm Ananda and I'm a rising junior studying Environment at McGill University. I also hold an A.A. in Liberal Arts from Bard College. I am mainly an English tutor, and I have a year and a half of experience doing so for college credit. I scored a 34/35 on each of the Math, English, and Science sections of the ACT, and a 35/36 on the Reading section. As I am still a student, the tips and tricks I use to conquer difficult readings and essays are still fresh in my mind, and I would love to share them with you!

My experience has been that one-to-one personal tuition has a unique value to students because of its ability to resolve the student's personal barriers to learning in a way that lays the foundations for a deep and long-lasting understanding of the subject.

I am able to design and revise EL Preschool, Primary, and Secondary curriculum to fit the profile of the students. I can tailor each tutoring lesson to be effective and meaningful, ensuring that it is worth the price that the client is paying. I will closely monitor homework submissions and provide feedback after each session to ensure improvement. Students must show me their EL files from their schools so that I can understand all the test and exam requirements set by their school teachers. Together, we can help the student ace their tests and exams with the best performance.
