Hello! My name is Emi Nuel Escobañas. I am 25 years of age, half Thai-Filipina. I am fluent in English, Thai and Tagalog, I speak English in my daily life. I am mostly focused in the age group of 2 years old - 8 years old (Early Childhood). I have a teaching experience as an English Teacher at a pre-school learning center, private Thai school, and in an international school. I used to be a shadow teacher to a child with special needs, and an assistant teacher in an International school. During weekdays, I also tutor kids in their home. When I teach English, I use hands on activities such as sensory play, arts and I apply music! I believe in child-centered approach. For older students above 10 years old, I focus in reading comprehension and effective writing. I help with their homework by assisting them to the topic they do not understand, and encouraging the student to do their work while guiding them, to make them believe that they are in control of learning and that they can do it! I have been working in the teaching field for five years. After graduating with my bachelor's degree in early education in 2016, I briefly became a substitute teacher for an elementary school. I loved working with the kids and assisting in the learning process, but I didn't feel like I was making enough of a difference as a substitute teacher. I ended up becoming a tutor instead, so I could have more one-on-one interaction with students. I much prefer this type of environment because I get to watch them grow and learn over time. I have been working as a tutor ever since.

Hi everyone! My name is Violet. I am currently a full time tutor. I have been tutoring children, teens and adults for the past 8 years. I have experience in tutoring students from the mainstream school and SEN settings in a wide range of subjects, such as English (kindergarten to adults), English Literature (MYP to IB) and psychology (IGCSE, IB/A Levels to university). I previously worked as a full-time ABA SEN teacher. I graduated from Swansea University and the University of Exeter with degrees in psychology (GPA 4.0).
