I teach English skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. I achieved a score of 8.5/9 in the IELTS exam and a score of 44/45 in the IB diploma, including a 7/7 in English A Language and Literature. Additionally, I obtained 8 A*/As in IGCSE, securing A* grades in both English First Language and English Literature. In ICAS competitions for English and English Writing, I have consistently ranked within the top 1% among Hong Kong students. Currently, I am pursuing a degree in Business and Law at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, supported by three admission scholarships, one of which is a full scholarship.

I teach English as a first language, which includes areas such as listening comprehension, writing comprehension, vocabulary, and general pronunciation and fluency of words. I am currently in Rustenburg. I hold a degree in Communication Science and a TEFL certificate.

Hi there, my name is Teacher Mike and I'm a native Engish speaker from the U.S. Born and raised in Los Angeles, I eventually completed my university and graduate school education in California. The early part of my career took me to several interesting cities around the world and after a few years I decided to settle down in Hong Kong where my wife and I both work in education. When I began teaching, I chose to offer private lessons as a freelance tutor, as opposed to teaching groups. This meant that speaking in depth with parents to undertsand specific objectives they have for their children was a key part of doing my job well. Twenty years onward, this still holds true for me today and is the main reason I believe that open communication between the tutor and parents is so important. I am a Bachelor in Broadcasting graduate from the Philippines. I have been teaching Nursery to Kindergarten 1-3 pupils for two years focusing on Phonics, Reading Readiness and Comprehension, Writing through Practice Pages, Grammar, and Correct Pronunciation. I am currently teaching Mini-English Program P.1 students for English, Math, Science, Health, and English for Presentation subjects. I seek to engage my pupils by continuously assessing them and examining ways so they can actively participate during class discussions, often using vocabulary flashcards and activity books.
